The Razor E100 and the Razor E150 have a fairly simple throttle mechanism for their 92v electric scooters. They are not adjustable (i.e. you can’t set wherein the rotation arc that maximum speed is reached) but for the most part they should be fine with 24 volts and 35 amps or so, maybe even a bit more but we wouldn’t recommend it. “Testing a Razor single speed throttle to see if it is bad can be done quickly and easily using your multimeter or the paper clip technique. The only real maintenance we would advise is to regularly wipe out the input wheel with a clean damp cloth, or just after riding – especially if used in wet conditions – because dirt can build up and affect how smooth the ride is over time. You will have to short them together. It has two pairs of wires, orange and brown or yellow and brown.
Once you resume your journey, be sure to keep a close eye out on how hot the motor endures. If your meter doesn’t show any change or shows a gradual increase, then a circuit is not happening right away or at all which indicates that something is wrong with the wire or wires in use. You may often experience an odd noise coming from the motor due to overcharging or high temperatures. Begin by turning the throttle handle in the opposite direction of where you want the scooter to go. Heating up will affect the durability of your electric scooter, which means the battery might start draining quicker and will also charge longer than usual. Touch your multimeter leads at the back of the handle in this position and then slowly rotate the scooter until it begins moving while maintaining contact with both wires. The Razor single-speed twist throttle is easy to troubleshoot because it has one pair of wires for each direction, so you only have one color to check.

Place the key into the slot and turn it left. If you hear the click of the lights going on, you’ve reset the electronics and now you can ride the scooter again. Push the button on the button and hold it in for about five seconds, then release it and push the button until the light stops blinking. What do I do if my E90 scooter won’t start?
However, the trick is to make sure you are not breaking a warranty. First, try oiling the wheels. A lot of broken chains are not visible because they do not look broken. If your wheels are bad, you can replace them, but first, you should try to take care of them! Has your razor electric scooter been making a clicking noise when you push off? Oiling the wheels is easy, just put a few drops on them and ride! If that doesn’t work, it is possible that you will need to replace the wheels with a new set. You might have a faulty chain if your electric scooter is not moving. Maintaining your electric scooter is really important for making sure that it doesn’t give you any issues. WHAT TO DO IF MY RAZOR E100 SCOOTER IS NOT STARTING? This can be frustrating, but we’re here to help! Make sure your battery is charged (if it’s an electric scooter). Is your Razor e100 scooter not starting? Is it stuck on the logo, not blinking or is doing something else?
You can curb this issue by starting the scooter first and only then plugging in the charger. There are a lot of common scooter issues that people often run into. First, make sure your electric scooter is firmly plugged into the wall outlet. First, remove the under plate from your scooter’s deck. Then slowly turn or rotate the throttle. Should you plug in the power cable first, this may result in an incomplete connection which will cause your motor not to work as intended. Next, check the LED indicator for a solid red light or a solid green light to indicate that the battery is either charging or fully charged, respectively. Get to know your vehicle by checking out the motor and the rear wheel. If neither LED indicator illuminates, this means there’s a problem with the charging mechanism and should be looked at as quickly as possible by an electric scooter repair specialist.

If you still can’t find the exact time for your model, then you can use the electric scooter charge time calculator to get a general idea. It’s not the end of the world if you don’t charge your scooter fully. The more times you ride with a full battery, the fewer times you will come close to draining it. Leaving it plugged in after fully charged for a few minutes will not be so bad, but don’t leave it for too long, even if it has overcharging protection.I recommend figuring out a daily charging pattern. The good news here is, many modern electric scooters have protection from overcharging built-in.The best practice remains to unplug your scooter soon after it’s 100% charged. And draining it does damage it! After all, lithium-ion batteries may not have any real consequences from partial charges. The reason I recommend fully charging your battery is to reduce the chance of completely draining it. When your scooter is fully charged, unplug the charger head from the charging port of the scooter first, and then unplug the charger from the power outlet.9.
It will almost always have a green indicator light that lights up when plugged in to indicate this.If the green light doesn’t light up, your charger may not work properly. Don’t use it to charge your scooter, either repair it or get a new one.7. Check your manual, the Internet, and the guide on electric scooter charging times to find that information about your scooter. Sometimes your scooter will have a charging port cap, which you need to remove so that you can plug the charging head into the port.Once you do that, your scooter should start charging. Most scooters have a way of indicating that they’re charging.
